Stan Janko - December 6th 1930 - December 3rd 2009
Stan Janko
passed away December 3rd 2009 - 3 days short of his 79th birthday
Stan was born in Manitoba in 1930 and grew up on a farm in
Brooks Alberta. His career in the automobile business took him from
Central Alberta to Vancouver. In 1979 Stan and his wife Doreen settled in Osoyoos in the Okanagan
Valley of British Columbia.
Stan's art work has been very well accepted, and it hangs in many
homes and offices from Vancouver Island, downtown Vancouver and the
Lower Mainland, throughout the Prairies, Los Angeles California, and
even downtown Manhattan Island New York City.
Stan painted the Canadian West the way he remembered it.
